MEET OUR PRESCHOOL TEACHERS
OUR DIRECTOR
MELISSA STARK
I have always known that I wanted to teach. I have been in my sweet spot for over 20 years. I received a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Buffalo State College and a master’s degree in Reading from St. Bonaventure University. I taught fourth, first, and third grade before spending most of my tenure in preschool. What a blessing it is to spend every day with wonderful staff and the most amazing children. I teach them but, in the end, every child teaches me as well. What a joy it is to teach lessons and remember my past students and how much excitement they had when making lifelong connections. I don’t look at teaching as a job, but something I love to do!

BETH FORBES
I have been teaching the 3-year-old program for 18 years at Fellowship Wesleyan. It is so rewarding to teach preschool and to help shape little minds. The best part about teaching is when they learn something for the first time and know that I helped with that.

CASSIE
Cassie’s journey at Fellowship Wesleyan Preschool started back in 2018 when her first child entered preschool, and her other two children followed. She has always felt led to work with children and has been involved in church nursery, Sunday school and babysitting throughout her life. Working with your children is an enormous blessing that she takes very seriously. She is looking forward to helping your children grow and develop, and to get ready for school!

JULIA HEYD
I had the pleasure of joining the preschool staff in 2021. I have a passion for working with children and making sure they feel comfortable to be themselves. I love being able to see and contribute to how their young minds work and progress over the school year. They are truly amazing!
